About the Series: From Web Novel to Fan Favorite

Reborn as a Vending Machine started off as a web novel by Hirukuma, later adapted into a light novel illustrated by Itsuwa Kato. It didn’t take long for the series to build a cult following, thanks to its absurd premise — a vending machine guy reincarnated into a dungeon world — and oddly heartfelt storytelling.

After its manga and anime adaptations, the fandom kept growing. And now, with Season 2 on the horizon, it’s safe to say the series is officially a part of the isekai mainstream (even if it still feels like a fever dream).

What Fans Can Expect This Season

More dungeon hijinks. More vending machine upgrades. More oddly wholesome character moments in the most ridiculous setup ever. Season 2 is shaping up to dive even deeper into Boxxo and Lammis’ dynamic — both hilarious and weirdly emotional.

Plus, if that funky theme song Mirai Cider by BRADIO is anything to go by, we’re in for a stylish and fun ride.
