The much-anticipated anime adaptation of A Tale of the Secret Saint has been officially confirmed by Earth Star Entertainment.
The announcement was made via the publisher’s official website and social media platforms, with additional confirmations from manga artist Mahito Aobe and A Tale of the Secret Saint ZERO adaptation artist Shiina.

As of now, there is no confirmed release date or details regarding the animation studio responsible for the project.
However, Earth Star Entertainment has confirmed a stage event at the Hakuhodo DY MaP Booth during AnimeJapan 2025 on March 22, where further details may be revealed.

Background on the Light Novel Series
The original light novel series was written by Touya and initially published on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in January 2019.
Earth Star Entertainment later acquired the series, publishing the first volume in June of the same year.
The series currently has eleven volumes, with the final volume set for release on March 14, 2025.
Story Overview
A Tale of the Secret Saint follows Fia, a young girl from a family of knights who dreams of becoming one herself but lacks the necessary talent.
However, during a life-threatening battle against a dragon, she suddenly recalls memories from a past life as a powerful knight who fought against the Demon King.
With these memories, Fia regains her former magical abilities, leading her on a journey of self-discovery and survival as she grapples with her newfound powers.
